Dr Shanthi Kamath MBBS<\/h3>\n

I completed my MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. After passing\u00a0 PLAB in the UK, I worked as a doctor in Emergency Medicine<\/strong> at Rotherham General Hospital, South Yorkshire, before returning to India.<\/p>\n

I am passionate about providing personalized care for women<\/strong>.\u00a0 I firmly believe in helping and supporting women achieve long-term wellness with focus on cancer prevention, bone and pelvic floor health<\/strong> as well as lifestyle measures<\/strong> to prevent obesity.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am specifically interested in day-care minimal access surgeries<\/strong>, where patients can go home the same day, even after complex surgeries.\u00a0 I am particularly focused on safety during anaesthesia and surgery.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a Member of the Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London<\/strong> since 2005.<\/p>\n

I completed my MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India in 1995.\u00a0 I secured MD <\/strong>from Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai<\/strong>, and the Diplomate of National Board (DNB)<\/strong> in 1998.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I completed Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (CCT) <\/strong>from<\/div>\n
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals<\/strong>, South Yorkshire\u00a0 and worked as a Consultant in NHS<\/strong>\u00a0 (National Health Service), before returning to India.\u00a0<\/div>\n

My special interests are Minimal Access Surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy)<\/strong> and Urogynaecology<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0I am specifically interested in treatment of\u00a0 severe Endometriosis,\u00a0 fibroids <\/strong>and heavy menstrual bleeding<\/strong>.\u00a0 I am also specialised in treatment of uterine prolapse, pelvic floor problems<\/strong> and urinary incontinence<\/strong>. We offer fertility-enhancing surgeries<\/strong> apart from basic treatment for infertility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
